Reality Check Uganda is an Independent non partisan fact finding journalism aimed at
bringing out the truth on political matters in Uganda.

Our News reporters check statements originating from the Presidential Press
Unit/Statehouse, Parliament of Uganda, Candidates, Advocacy Groups and
advertisers for their accuracy. We analyze every statement and offer
an explanation on what we believe is right.

Reality Check Uganda
tracks President Museveni’s campaign promises, Those of MPs and
leaders of political parties. We also analyze advertisements that are
placed on the radios and television stations to prevent the public
from being misled.

Our Mission: y

Reality Check Uganda aims to reduce
the level of deception and confusion in Uganda’s politics. We monitor
the factual accuracy of what is said by Uganda’s political players
through media adverts, debates, speeches, interviews and press
releases.

Goal:

Reality Check Uganda aims to apply the best practices
of journalism to increase civic awareness and knowledge in Uganda.

Use of our material
Unless otherwise noted, you can republish our stories provided you observe the following:
